ND Aquatics 4x2x2 with Eheim 2075
Plenty of people have asked me about my tank, cabinet, and filter combination (does it all fit comfortably, what's the flow like, etc). Here's the video to hopefully clear those questions up. I intend on adding a duplicate filter/heater set up on the other side of the tank shortly. Tank is still cycling hence no livestock yet.

How to Replace Eheim Pro II Canister Filter Carbon Pad?
I bought an Eheim Pro II Canister Filter that has always worked really well, but I would like to put a carbon filter pad in it.
I have a carbon pad that is especially made for the Eheim filters, but I have no instructions whatsoever on where I should put it within the filter!
Below is a pic of a normal Eheim setup, but my filter has an extra gray media bucket in between the top media bucket with a white pad and the bottom media bucket with the blue pad (on top):

So I just want to see if I put the pad in place of something, or between the white and blue pad, or what?
Thanks for any help!

Hi there,
been live cycling 100 gal planted tank with external eheim filter for about 2 months now. This will eventually be a Discus tank. I have schools of scissor tails and rummy nose tetras, 5 corydoras, 3 small loaches and 5 siamese algae eaters. Over the last couple days I noticed one of my Rummy nose had a couple of points... ich! The others are still fine, except for one of the loaches who has been scratching in the gravel. I had to look really closely but he has them. I have always had my tank at 28 celcius, but have it now at 86 degrees F. I had ich in my 14 gal before and the meds never did work, only two of my fish made it through. Before I get discus, I have now learned my lesson and will quarantie for at least 2 weeks before I introduce them. Right now things look good in my tank but with my experience I know they will get worse! Has anyone here had success with simply raising the temps, no salt or meds, and will the high temps bother my other fish at all? Thanks

Hagen ‘Fluval U’ Series Internal Filters – PFK Magazine
Matt Clarke takes a first look at the new U series of underwater filters from Hagen. Hagen's recently launched U-series of internal power filters - U1, U2, U3 and U4 - have literally just hit the shelves in the UK, and we've just received our first ones in for review. To find out how we rate these, and to see how they perform in the aquarium against some of the other internal filters on the market, check out the results of our in-depth product test in the January 2009 issue of Practical Fishkeeping magazine.
