What Protein skimmer would you recommend for a 75 gallon fish only saltwater aquarium tank ?
I have rena filstar xp3 filter, 3 damsels, 2 clowns and 2 hermit crabs. Looking for something quiet, under 0, hang on the back kind , and I have 3.5 inches from tank to back of the wall.

I am trying to jump up to a 200 gallon but must sell this tank setup first. How much do you think I could sell the entire setup for. I have a ton of fish including bala sharks, gouramis, tetras, angels, loaches, plecos and some more I could throw in if it is a local pick up. So what would you all realistically pay. Best answer goes to the most logical and realistic.

How do I maintain my inbuilt aquarium filter?
Hi, I have recently purchased a 60 litre/16 gallon Rena prisma tank with an efficient inbuilt filtration system but it was second hand and I don't quite know how often I'm supposed to maintain it and change the sponges, charcoal and filter pads. I know I have to rinse the sponge in aquarium water and change the charcoal monthly? what about the filter pads? how often should I clean the pump? The water inlet is often blocked with food or plant bits -should I be scrubbing this daily? What can I use? a tootbrush? is it ok that the food and plant bits get in the system? what about bits of sand or gravel? should I use the gravel vaccum to clean out the box (filtration medium location) regularly too? what exactly are the foam/spnges-have I got the right ones -what's the best and most effective? I have a teeny tiny fantail goldfish and equal sized black moor (please please don't remind me I'm overstocked I know this full well and I will upgrade their tank when I move early next year I promise)

Which filter is better Rena Xp3 or an equivelant Eheim filter?
Looking for a canister filter for a 55 gallon tank, I'd rather over filter than under filter and understand you want a filter rated 3 to 4 times the tank capacity. Which filter would be better?

Why is the rena xp3 filter sooo “bad” in my turtle tank?

ok, i got a rena xp3 filter for my 50 gallon tank. I have a 3 inch red eared slider, i know they are extremely messy sooo thats why i got the filter. I set it up, and it is running accuratly, but it does a horrrrrrrrrrible job filtering the water!!! I thought the rena xp3 was the best canister filter out there so i am wondering why it only filters half of my tank, and the other half is still filled with food, waste, etc. My tank only has one turtle and no fish ( that live there anyways..) and the rena xp3 is designed for heavily stocked 100 gallon aquariums, so i am wondering why it is soo weak, that it is not powerful enough to filter my whole tank!???I only have 40 gallons of water in it!! What should i do, i lost the receipt, so i cant return the filter, and now i am cleaning the tank much more often then i did before with my filter. What a rip off!!!!!!!
Which is better, marineland, Rena, or fluval canister filters?
