EHEIM Classic External Canister Questions?
I just purchased an EHEIM Classic External Canister Filter (2217) and i need to figure out how to properly set it up(detailed info/or video).And just to let everyone know i got a killer deal off of Petsmart.com i paid 4.99 =)

Tips…
never put anything in the canister that needs changing monthly…like carbon..
i just run the sponges and the bio…this way you only need to break it down every couple month..
cripes i clean mine every 3 months..but i also run a small hob on top for aeration and custom media if i run into a problem..
Another thing…….I failed at solving this one mine own lol…
its cleaning time so you close the valves and unscrew the hoses and now its time to unclip and pop off the top but it won’t come off not matter what your try…
you have to open the 2 valves again on the canister end..they create a suction superman couldn’t break…do that and the top pops off with ease.
